Fwd: world bicycle summit call for proposals
Is anyone going to the World Bike Forum in Columbia http://fmb4.org/site/? Feb 26th to March 1st?
I'm considering it and would love to see a crew of people out there.
The WBF / Forum Mundial de la Bicicleta is a week-long free, public happening that is democratically organized by volunteers from around the world. It's a place for artists, activists, advocates, and government leaders to get together and talk about how to transform the world's cities through bicycling.
We're looking for proposals for workshops, artistic interventions, lectures, and discussions. Also, everyone is invited!

Hey all,
I don't think I'm going but lived in Medellin for a year and know some fantastic bikey people there. If you are going, hit me up for advice or connections or a place to stay!
Abrazos, Amanda

FYI Spirit Air flies from NYC / Ft. Lauderdale / LA to Colombia for pretty cheap. A bike is $100 boxed each way.
...or you can start touring right now.
