I am building a wheel cave for our storage of spare wheels and rims. wondering what folks use as a cheap alternative to the red or black bike hanging hooks.
Thanks for any help!
We've tried a lot of DIY solutions including cheater brake levers and bent spokes but nothing is as durable or easy to install as those pvc coated hooks. And they can be had for .63 cents each here. http://www.hardwareworld.com/Bicycle-Hook-Sp2158-bc-6-1--2-Inches-pTVE3SO.as...

We bend two 90 deg angles into old spokes and hang those from the ceiling. It's strong enough for a wheel and sometimes a wheel and a tire.
