POS for a Non-profit Bike Shop
Hi Folks,
I'm volunteering at a community bike shop in East Vancouver, BC, called Kickstand https://www.facebook.com/Eastvan.Kickstand . We are looking for a POS to use here. What POS are using and what do you suggest we should use?
Did any of you attend the Bike!Bike! https://www.bikebike.org/ conference workshop about different POS systems?
Also is anyone using Erplyhttp://erply.com/windows-point-of-sale-pos-download/? What do you think of that?

At the Bicycle Kitchen in Los Angeles we've been using Lightspeed (previously known as MerchantOS) for a couple of years.

The software was originally developed for a bike shop so they have some integration with various bike vendors. It works well enough, and it's nice to have something accessible over the internet.

Bikerowave and bici libre also use light speed. I had heard that the free offer might not be something continued with lightspeed let us know what they say.
