Hi Folks,
I'm a mechanic with the Asheville Recyclery. I tried to edit the page for the Asheville Recyclery and it would not work for me, kept getting messages that there were newer edits since I tried to update, but there isn't anything there. How do I make this work?
Thanks and good health, Weogo

The page appears blank to me. The last edit was 10 August 2011 https://bikecollectives.org/wiki/index.php?title=Asheville_ReCyclery&oldid=12285 which showed info like hours of operation, contact info, a link to a Facebook page, etc. I'm half decent at editing Wikis if you want to contact me offlist to let me know what info you need added there I can probably handle it.

Hi Weogo!
I’ve resolved the issue and returned the old revisions to the original page. I also added a template that should be self-explanatory when you use "edit source." If you need help, Sam could walk you through this process—for example, adding a logo. Thank you for the offer, Sam!
https://bikecollectives.org/wiki/Asheville_ReCyclery
For future reference (MediaWiki Admins), here are the steps I followed to resolve the issue:
- Installed FindAnomalies.php from https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:FindAnomalies.php in the maintenance directory.
- Ran the script: php maintenance/findAnomalies.php --mode=plmr
- Backed up the old revisions from Asheville_ReCyclery into a text file, creating a new page (Asheville_ReCyclery2) with those revisions.
- Deleted the original page using the command: php maintenance/nukePage.php Asheville_ReCyclery --delete
Moved Asheville_ReCyclery2 to Asheville_ReCyclery.
Best regards, Jonathan

Thanks for returning the old revisions and for setting up the template, Jonathan. Looks good.

Hi Sam and Jonathan,
Thanks for the help! I got the information in the center of the page updated, but have yet to figure out changing the information on the right side. More guidance please!
Thanks and good health, Weogo

Hi Weogo and other interested people,
When you're on your page, click on the "Edit source" tab. The information on the right side is editable through a template located between {{ and }}. I've copied and pasted the full source from Asheville_ReCyclery below. All pages are encouraged to adopt this template. To learn more about the template, visit: https://www.bikecollectives.org/wiki/Template:Community_Bicycle_Organization... .
If you want to add Asheville ReCyclery's mission, you can do so like this:
| mission = We are a 501c3 non-profit organization that allows people to build and repair their own bikes on a donation (time/money) basis.
There are also "yes and no" questions you can answer.
To add a logo, go to the "Read" tab and click on the image link (e.g., { no logo | click to upload ... }). Upload the logo file and keep the suggested name for the file.
Use the Source! Jonathan
