Has anyone looked into selling bicycles consignment at their shops? Or looked into it?
I'd love to hear what successes, issues, pitfalls, and/or barriers people have ran into.
We're brainstorming some ideas that would allow members (BBP has a yearly membership program that gives folks unlimited shop time for a year) to sell bicycles consignment through BBP.

This activity may not be kosher for 501c3 orgs. We had to take down a simple "for sale/wanted" webpage when we applied for IRS nonprofit determination because "the assets or income of the 501c3 cannot accrue to any individual."
On the other hand (and why I opened this post) we are VERY interested in others' experiences selling OUR bikes at for-profit bike shops that we partner with (they give us their useful take-off parts, and bikes donated by their customers)...
