translated part names; archive search broken
Hi all -
A couple months back someone sent around a spreadsheet with translated part names (i.e. technical terms). I'm particularly interested in the Spanish/Mexican ones. Would be grateful if someone could forward me the link again!
In related news - I tried searching for this in the thinktank archives, but it gave a nice error...
Unable to read word database file '/dh/mailman/dingo/archives/htdig-db/thethinktank-bikecollectives.org/db.words.db' Did you run htdig?

Hi,
I didn't see that spreadsheet of translations, but I actually maintain my own for English-to-Spanish, because as I assist in Spanish at El ColectiVelo in Oakland I keep running across new local names from different parts of Latin America and the US.
Here it is in Google Doc form, viewable to anyone with the url: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkGnbmCw9AdUdEhGazRDQlV...
I've dubbed it a "biccionario"
Please let me know any corrections! My base was Sheldon Brown's list online way back, which had plenty of errors, and I've probably added in my own.
Thanks, -Morgan www.colectivelo.org

Perhaps I was mistaken and that spreadsheet I saw came from some other mailing list I'm on. In any case, thanks for the great response and capturing it on the wiki!
