does anyone's shop rent from a private landlord (not the city, a friend or relative, etc.) and have a copy of your lease agreement? we are trying to work one out over at bike saviours (in tempe az) and want to see if there is a standard!

I second the need for a copy of this! Especially if anyone has had a leasing situation where they were getting donated space and had to formally negotiate a procedure for a full-price renter wanting to move in....

Leases are generally straight forward. Generally, some form of lease is found and it gets modified to meet everyone's needs in the form of negotiating with the landlords. I will dig up the Bike Church lease and forward a copy on within the next few days.

Keep in mind though that leasing laws vary by state - If possible, find a friendly lawyer to read over your draft lease before you sign.
