Chamber of Commerce membership

All, Our organization, The Rockville Bike Hub, has off-and-on discussed connecting with the local Chamber of Commerce. I was wondering how many other collectives/community shops out there have actually joined their local Chamber of Commerce and what value you've gotten out of it. The new 2000 sqft 2-story addition is officially underway and there's never been a better time and a greater opportunity to get involved... *THE JOB* BBP hiring a new Volunteer / Adult Program Coordinator to grow, diversify, and foster a dynamic volunteer program. We are looking for someone who will engage and inspire volunteers to reach new levels of impact within the organization. The Volunteer Coordinator needs to 1st have a passion for people, followed a passion for the empowering benefits of bicycling. Dear Think Tank, We would like to implement some "how to" literature around our bike shop for the young people. For example drawings and writing explaining how to patch a tube, or how to use a chain breaker. Does anyone have this kind of material or know where I could find this information? Donations in/near South Carolina

Hi folks, a dear friend in South Carolina is looking for 100 bikes. We are willing to look for some here in Cleveland and go help them fix them, so the bikes don't have to be in perfect riding condition -- just good enough to be fixable and decent enough to stay in repair in a developing country without a lot of access to bike shops.
