We are currently restructuring our organization and looking to up our
efficiency. We have trouble keeping our paper based volunteer system up to
date. We acquired a computer, and would like to set up an in-shop database
system. Ideally, this would have a sign-in/sign-out function that records
time spend in shop, which could be cross referenced with the volunteers
contact information. This would eliminate paper use and cut out the extra
step of manually entering information. I have checked out the Bicycle
Kitchen's Freehub software, but I would prefer to have something that is
locally based and easily customizable.
How do your shops manage volunteer tracking? Any suggestions?
