I have never made it to a Bike! Bike! because I try to keep a motor minimalist traveling radius. But the Bici! Blackstone Bicycle Works and the Experimental Station Union

Hi all, Some of you might have heard that us workers at Experimental Station recently unionized! The union includes mechanics and workers from Blackstone Bicycle Works, a beloved youth program bike shop on Chicago's South Side! Unfortunately, rather than listen to the support of an overwhelming majority of staff, tenants, elected officials, and community members and recognize our union, our Board is trying to union bust ([here's an email we sent out to supporters](https://mailchi.mp/2639ff8e740d/the-es-union-needs-your-support)). Even more unfortunate, Blackstone is in a pretty bad spot—all the mechanics have been fired or left within the past few months, so all the solidarity we can get is really really appreciated. The folk in question average very low mechanical skills, and many are fairly new to each other. (1) Do you have activities / syllabi / suggestions for mechanical crash-course stuff that's good for this scenario? (2) Do you have activities / suggestions / prompts for the more camp counselor style parts of this -- either in the metaphoric "trust falls" realm, or in terms of building a collective social analysis, or in terms of establishing great practices for volunteers in the space.
