Hey guys! I was a member of the think tank long ago, but have recently rejoined. I'm wanting to do a youth bicycle drive for the holidays. Anyone ever done one before? Got any tips? I'm just hoping to help people clear their garages of unwanted youth bikes, and then in turn, provide them for inner city youth here in Chattanooga that need them and could use them for Christmas. Hey thinktankers, I wanted to reach out and tell you all that Working Bikes in Chicago has one position currently posted, but a few more on the way. The current posting, for Community Engagement Manager has a dealine of the end of the week, but applicants from thinktank/bikebike will be accepted for an additional week. Next month we will also be posting for a General Manager and Service department mechanic. Working Bikes is a 19 year old 501c3 non profit which gives old bikes new homes as tools of empowerment at home and abroad. We directly impact people's ability to access sustainable transportation without barriers. How to cross a street

Hello, we are making a video on how it is to cross streets in our city, Monterrey, Mexico. The idea is to compare different cities around the world on how it is to cross a street, this is to demonstrate that even thought we have excellent laws on hot to move around the city, the reality is far far from what it is written. So we are asking for inputs on how it is to cross a street in your cities. It can be a short video (-15-20s) on and intersection (with or without traffic lights) and can be recorded on a cellphone or a camera. We attach a video we record with a go pro attache to a bike helmet on a 720 resolution, and unfortunately we are not able to see the plates of the cab that yelled profanities to the woman crossing the street . It will be of great help to have the videos of your cities and use them on creating some conscience. Thanks in advance and so much fun to all of you going to B!B! Ride from San Fran to bike!bike!

Hey good bike peoples Myself and my partner Camille are currently biking down the west coast en route to bike!Bike! but don't have time to ride all the way to LA so we're hoping to catch a lift (along with our bikes) on the 27th or so. Right now our schedule has us on track to arrive in Bodega Bay late on the 26th and lagunitas late on the 27th. That said we're happy to catch a bus earlier into San Rafael or San Fran if it means we can catch a ride with someone to LA. We're happy to pitch in for gas of course and can regale you with stories of the road!
